We got to Sedona late Friday night, during a drizzle. It turned into a big thunder and lightning storm. I could hear the rain pounding down on the tent bed of our trailer just a few feet above my head. I'm glad we have a heater in the trailer and I was snug in bed.
Saturday morning we started out with a big breakfast at The Coffee Pot Restaurant, home of the 101 omelet menu. Kevin ordered the Ham, Cheese, and Avocado omelet. I stuck to the traditional french toast :)
Then we drove up Schnebly Hill Road and through Oak Creek Canyon in search of Fall foliage and snow. The further we went up the canyon, the less it looked like Fall and the more it began to look like winter. Not only do we love to see the flora and fauna, we love to take pictures of it too - so this post is full of some of the best photos of the day. More photos can be seen HERE.
We ended the day at Oaxaca Mexican restaurant, then walking downtown Sedona. Overall we had a fun weekend getaway. Enjoy the photos!
