I had to take a quick business trip to St. Louis last week. Some of my co-workers and I were able to take some time to go see the St. Louis Gateway Arch. We rode to the top of the arch in these little egg-like compartments - which was no small feat for me since I am very claustrophobic! (These are iPhone pictures so they're not the greatest quality).
St. Louis Gateway Arch
If you look real closely you can see the windows that you look out at the top of the arch
This is the test egg that you sit in to see if you will be okay to ride to to the top. The real egg holds 5 adults - it's very small!
Looking out from the top of the arch - 630 feet up!
We also had some time to do a little shopping - I got a new Coach Madison Op Art Sophia Sateen Satchel in light grey with the snake skin handles :)
