Warrior Dash

April 30th 2011 – Kevin participated in the Phoenix Warrior Dash with some of his coworkers.  It was a 3.5 mile “Battleground” filled with all kinds of crazy obstacles; such as the Tunnel of Terror, the Junkyard Jump, the Cliffhanger, the Warrior Roast, and a big mud pit, called The Muddy Mayhem, which you had to slog through to get to the finish line.

The whole even was like one big party.  There were live bands playing music, and after the course, they served turkey legs and beer.  Everyone received an “I survived the Warrior Dash”  medal, a T-shirt, and a crazy hat!  It was also a charity event, almost all of the participants donated their shoes to Soles for Souls.

Since the course required you to get wet and muddy, Kevin didn’t take our camera.  These pictures are taken from a disposable camera – so they’re not the best.  You can check out the rest of the photo’s on our Flickr page HERE.
