Hiking Zion National Park Narrows
We love to get out of the heat and the city every October and head somewhere that reminds us of fall where we can see nature! This year we drove to Zion National Park in Utah to camp and hike the with my family. We were able to hike the Narrows, in past years the weather did not cooperate so we were unable to go. Zion Narrows is hike through a stream/river surrounded by high narrow canyon walls. The water was 55 degrees and very deep! At one point it was over 4 feet deep. Kevin was kind enough to video the screams as we waded into the cold water :) – see the first video below. Sunday we went ‘off the map’ and just found our own place to hike. Sooo Cold!
It’s Tougher Than It Looks
That was a lot of fun (and hard work)I am so glad you guys finally got to see why we love going every year. Your pictures are some of the best I have seen. You did a great job of capturing the slot canyons!!!!
