We got to take "Frankie" (our new trailer) out for a long weekend over New Year's. I had to work 1/2 day on New Year's Eve, but the place we stay has WiFi, so I worked from the trailer :).
We took a hike, on Huckaby Trail, which gave us some nice views of the bridge and Oak Creek. We plan to hike this trail again in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.
Kevin was out grilling chicken for dinner when it started to snow! It snowed all through the night and we woke up to a few inches of snow on New Year's Eve. We got up early to drive up the canyon and get some photos.
For New Year's Eve we were able to get a dinner reservation at Dahl & DiLuca, which is the restaurant we rented out for our wedding reception. They had it all decorated with balloons, and candles, and had a piano player and a special New Year's Eve menu.
