A Night at the Ballroom

Kevin and I went to see The Boxer Rebellion in concert at the Crescent Ballroom this week.   We hadn't been to that venue before, it was very small, which was great because we were able to get right up next to the stage. They also have a restaurant and patio too, which would be fun to hang out there and listen to music.

We've been fans of The Boxer Rebellion ever since we heard them on the movie Going The Distance.  I've been waiting for them to play a show in Phoenix.  They played songs from their new album, Promises, and some older ones too, including the main song from the movie.

Good music, good venue, good company, and ( as always at concerts) good people watching - what's not to love?  We'll definitely be going back to Crescent Ballroom again to hear some local bands.

We took a few pictures but they are very poor iPhone quality so I'm just posting one to show how close we were to the stage.
